Diana B. Carlin is Professor Emerita of Communication at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and a retired Professor of Communication Studies and former Dean of the Graduate School and International Programs at the University of Kansas. Her teaching and scholarship focus on political communication with an emphasis on presidential rhetoric, political debates, women in politics, and first ladies.
