Ghaith Al-Omari is a senior fellow at The Washington Institute. Previously, he was
executive director of the American Task Force on Palestine, and served as advisor to
the Palestinian negotiating team between 1999–2006, where he participated in a
number of negotiation rounds including the 2000 Camp David Summit. He has written
