Jason Beckett is an assistant professor in the Law department at the American University in Cairo. He has published journal articles on diverse topics in the field of Public International Law. His research is currently focused on the roles of law in reproducing and maintaining extreme poverty and injustice at the international level, and specifically against the under-developed states of the Global South.
