Omar Shaban is the founder and director of the Gaza-Based PalThink for Strategic Studies. In 2007, Palthink produced the first roadmap for national reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah. Shaban is a senior economic and community development consultant, with over 25 years’ experience in management consultancy and private and public sector development. He is a regular speaker at conferences in Europe and the United States on the Middle East peace process and the Gazan economy.
