Samuel M. Makinda is Professor Emeritus in the College of Law, Arts and Social Sciences at Murdoch University. He is the co-author of The African Union: Addressing the challenges of peace, security and governance (2016) and four other books on Africa. He has published also on knowledge production, human rights, democracy, development, and diplomacy.
